What Is Tan Through Swimwear?
Our patented Tan Through swimwear is a unique advancement in fabric technology that helps the wearer achieve an all over sun tan and minimise tan lines by letting the suns UV tanning rays to pass through the patented Transol fabric. Furthermore, Tan Through fabric dries 3X faster than normal swimwear, and allows your skin to breathe - keeping you cool and comfortable at all times.
How Does Tan Through Swimwear Work?
Quite simply, our unique patented Tan Through swimwear fabric contains millions of tiny square amp; diamond shaped holes allowing the suns tanning rays to pass through. While we know holes in fabric isn't exactly rocket science, with holes comes transparency and this is where the magic happens! To counter the transparency we design special prints that confuse the eye and camouflage the skin beneath making any transparency issues melt away like butter in the sunshine you will be lying in!
Dries 3 X Faster
There are up to 200,000 holes in a regular tan thru swimsuit. This effectively reduces a huge amount of fabric from the swimwear and therefore retains much less water than conventional swimwear which allows the fabric to dry incredibly quickly.
There is a huge amount of fabric effectively removed from tan through swimwear thanks to the apertures, this makes the swimwear incredibly light-weight, making it feel like a second skin, keeping you comfortable all day long. It also allows you to pack more!
Tan Through swimwear not only allows the sun to pass through, but also the air too. Transol fabric allows your skin to breath and the breeze to keep you cool, making for an incredibly comfortable style, all day long.
How long will it take for me to tan?
The time it takes for you to tan through the Transol fabric is difficult to estimate it all depends on your skin type, melanin production in your skin, intensity of the sun and how long you spend in the sun to allow tanning to take place. Try to wear Kiniki products as often as possible and for a continuous period of time.
Do I need sun protection when wearing Kiniki products?
Please make sure that you wear appropriate sun protection when wearing Kiniki products. It is important to protect your skin with a suitable sun cream offering UVA amp; UVB protection.
Can I swim in the sea or pool in my Tan through swimwear?
Yes, absolutely, the fabric is not affected by sea water or the chemicals present in swimming pools, as with all swimwear we recommend it is rinsed through after use.
Do I need to take special care when laundering my Tan Through swimwear?
No special care is required, you can wash your tan through garment by hand or machine wash up to 40°C and whilst tumble drying will not harm the fabric, it is advisable to let your swimwear dry naturally.

There are too many people and too many stages involved in getting a lovely garment to a lovely customer. We keep all the design, sourcing, production and distribution in house, we don’t have the usual markups at each step of the way and we pass this saving and service on to you.
The essence of a premium garment is ultimately in the quality. We have gone to great lengths to source incredibly luxurious yet practical fabrics and materials. These are put into the hands of our highly skilled seamstresses - some of which have been in the industry for 35 years - resulting in an impeccably finished product, produced with pride and care.
